Friday, November 26, 2010 the A.L. Brown Wonders (12-1) hosted the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (13-0) in quarter-final action of the 2010 NCHSAA Football Playoffs. The Cougars struck first as kicker Jesse Roy nailed a 49-yard field goal. The Wonders answered back with a long touchdown catch and run by Keeon Johnson to take a 7-3 lead, but Charlotte Catholic would score touchdowns on their next 4 possessions for a 31-7 lead at half-time and tack on 2 more touchdowns in the second half for a 45-7 victory.
